Qatar Airways has been awarded for its exceptional passenger experience At an awards ceremony held at Radisson Blu Hotel in Hamburg, Germany on March 3, 2019, Qatar Airways was awarded the PAX International readership award for the 'Best Cabin Interior Passenger experience'. It was also awarded the "Best In-Flight Duty-Free Programme" award for the Middle East, the third consecutive time it has received this award in four years.
Qatar Airways' award for the 'Best Cabin Interior Passenger experience' recognizes the exceptional in-flight experience provided by Qsuite, its patented Business Class seat. It features the first-ever double bed in Business Class and sliding panels that slide away. This allows friends, family, and colleagues to travel together in their own private suite.
His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker is the Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive. He stated that "As an airline, one of our highest priorities is to provide our customers with a memorable experience onboard." We are delighted that these awards recognize our efforts to pay attention to every detail.
The Qatar Qatar Airways Sydney Office Duty-Free Senior Vice President Mr. Bruce Bowman said that the program's in-flight duty-free status has been voted best in the Middle East for the 3rd time in 4 years. This is a testament to our commitment that passengers receive a wide range of premium brands and products, tailored to their individual needs. Our online pre-order service last year allowed passengers to shop before they travel and have their purchases delivered right to their seats. We are extremely grateful to have been awarded this award as the Middle East is a highly-competitive region for duty-free.
Qatar Airways offers a unique selection of luxury and affordable brands in its in-flight offerings. It also publishes Extravaganza, an in-flight magazine that is duty-free. This magazine introduces passengers to more than 170 products in flight, including perfumes, cosmetics, and skincare.
